If so, the BFI Film Academy is for you. This course offers you the chance to be part of our future film industry.
As a student of the Film Academy:
Once you have completed the Network course, you will become part of the growing BFI Film Academy alumni network with access to events such as BAFTA career talks. You will also have the opportunity to gain a film qualification on the course.
About our programme:

MTR run an inclusive BFI Academy programme, which takes positive steps towards encouraging underrepresented groups into the film and media industry and address current inequalities in the industry’s workforce.
All young people are welcome to apply to our BFI Film Academy programme, however, MTR will prioritise places for young people with the greatest need.

‘I took part in the 2013/14 MTR BFI Film Academy and have since gone on to make a handful of my own short films. My most recent comedy drama short won an award in an international film festival and I’m in pre-production for my next. the academy enabled me to network and meet industry professionals. For example I got to shadow a director Stella Corradi on a BBC feature film production.
